Legion Post Production Studios Internship 1st 2Days

Well The Internship is going great! I got the opportunity to talk with clients about a 12 hour "How to be a sniper" DVD. Never thought I would be starring at so many bulls eyes and bullet trails in one day. The Photoshop tutoring at the computer center is moving along well, and I feel like what I am teaching is actually making sense for the most part. To sum up (using Photoshop from page design to cutting up for the web Coders). I signed up for the Animals and Creatures class in-which I am also excited about. Thats all for now!

Cameron art museum

The Cameron art museum in Wilmington ,nc has a show up where they have some amazing local artist from all over nc to get a spot on their wall. The museum had several museum Curators come from San Fransisco, and art critics from new York to judye what goes in and what doesn't. I had the opportunity to submit among these fantastic artist and I actually made the cut with my 1953 "Toot, Whistle, Plunk And Boom" inspired acrylic painting "t-bonze". After the trip to San Fransisco I finally made it into the gallery and it was a minor contribution to the amazing talent that surrounded it among the exhibit! I was so happy to be apart of this great local exhibit. The show goes on from May 8th till the end of October 2011. Here's a link to the show---@ http://www.cameronartmuseum.com/exhibitions.php#42

WOw AM.com is almost done! Wk11

Hello Blog, I now must review the Changes that have accrued with in the last couple months during my leg/ankle's healing process. I left off when I began AM and Eureka moments were happening left and right! That course put everything in perspective. Plus with my Fine arts degree shadowing my assignments helped a great deal. I have been introduced to people and ...no, no, no...amazing people! People I thought were as unreal but they are so real. As a musician and in the fine arts some big shots leave with a sour taste and I'm reminded of the quote, "never meet your idols." At AM.com I wasn't disappointed at all though. DOnt get me wrong, I have had the pleasure of meeting some fantastically humble musicians Like the Singer from Voodoo Glow skulls and, Leah SObsey and several other photographers fine artist that are really awesome. THough, overall I have a had some bad ones too! NEver-the-less the animators I have had the pleasure to meet on a 3by 3 square via internet, and i met alot were all freaken so nice! I wanted to shake all their hands because of the distance they go to help me on my journey!

Current: Working on bus. cards, Web site, demo reel, putting sod down in Kure Village for some lady that really likes football, DVD reel Case, passing! Saving money in order to go to San Fran and have a place to stay and food to eat! Plus looking forward to meeting all these fantastic people from AM.com!
Till next time! (probably a pre-game Post after wk12~!) :)
